Complaints policy
When a garage door visit booked through this site goes wrong, this is how it gets put right: what you do, what we do, and how long each part takes.

| What happens | Whose job | Deadline |
|---|---|---|
| Raise it. Phone (806) 630-0528 and say you want a callback about a complaint, or write to hello@lubbockgaragedoortech.com. Tell us the garage's address, when the technician came, what the driveway quote said, what went wrong and send pictures if you took any. | The customer | Whenever suits you. If the technician is still at the house, say so and it is sorted before they leave. |
| A named person confirms we have it and takes ownership. | Lubbock Garage Door Tech | One business day from your call or email. |
| Someone looks at the door. For a quality complaint the technician comes back and the door is run, lifted by hand and tested on the reverse before anything is decided. | Lubbock Garage Door Tech with the technician | Date agreed on the confirmation call. |
| You get it in writing: what we found, the fix we propose and the day it will be done. Warranty work is booked; anything the warranty does not reach is explained with reasons. | Lubbock Garage Door Tech | Ten business days from your call or email. |
| The fix is done. Where the original work was wrong, it costs you nothing. | The technician | The day named in the written reply. |
| The file is kept: your complaint, what was found, what was done. It is read when we decide who keeps getting Lubbock jobs. | Lubbock Garage Door Tech | Held for two years. |
Each job is done by an independent technician under the price you approved on the driveway or by text. Because Lubbock Garage Door Tech picked that technician and set up the appointment, you bring a complaint about the booking or about the workmanship to us, and we carry it to the technician for you and keep carrying it until it is settled. Technicians who generate repeated complaints stop receiving work through this site. If the work damaged something of yours, it is put right or paid for through the technician's general liability cover, and the written reply says which.
None of this stops you going elsewhere. There is no Texas licensing board for garage door technicians, so there is no trade regulator to appeal to; the consumer route is the Texas Attorney General's Consumer Protection Division, which takes complaints about any business operating in the state. Whatever rights Texas law or your signed quote gives you remain yours regardless of anything on this page.
